Security

Secure server: When you connect to a secure web server, such as our check-out procedure, you ask that server to authenticate itself. This authentication is a complex process involving public keys, private keys and a digital certificate. The certificate tells you that an independent third party has agreed that the server belongs to the company it claims to belong to. A valid certificate means that you can have confidence that you are sending information to the right place. This SSL certificate logo shows you that these security measures are in place on this site.

Internet Shopping is Safe: Intek Communications pride ourselves in offering one of the most secure web sites in the world, with the use of secure 128 bit secure servers, realtime session ID tracking and constantly fraud monitored servers.

Security: When you enter personal information on this site such as your credit card information it may or may not be transmitted from your computer to the web server using industry standard Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption provided you are using a SSL enabled browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. This ensures that your information is encrypted as it travels over the Internet. This secure mode is enabled before any such information is transmitted from your computer. You will . know you are in secure mode when the padlock icon in the lower right-hand or left-hand corner of the computer screen appears in the locked position. In addition, when accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https." This information is then transmitted via e-mail to Intek and the e-mail is not encrypted. After information reaches Intek it is stored on a secure server residing behind a firewall, designed to block access from outside the Company. Once your information is received it is subject to the strict security requirements of Intek Communications Ltd.
